The Zero Zero 24 is based on the best botanicals that are distilled piece by piece. As a result, all individual aromas are captured. These are then blended into a tasteful, characteristic and alcohol-free spirit

Each Hooghoudt spirit contains a unique selection of the finest regional herbs from the Hooghoudtherb garden on the Ewsum estate. Classic monastery herbs such as nettle leaf, blessed thistle herb and orange peel bitter give our gins a fine, soft taste. In addition, spice supplier Jacob Hooy supplies the best natural herbs to complement our regional herbs.

We let a mixture of herbs, spices and/or fruit peels steep in an alcohol-water mixture for a number of weeks (sometimes up to 6). After filtering the liquid, the flavors, odors and colors remain in the alcohol. We call this extracts. These are indispensable for our herbal bitters, among other things.
