Espresso martini

Ice-cold with a delicious coffee taste, slightly sweeter than the standard version due to the Hooghoudt Sweet Spiced and the Hooghoudt Coffee & Cocoa liqueur. The best version of this popular cocktail, if we do say so ourselves!

Ingredients

  • 50 ml Hooghoudt Sweet Spiced Genever
  • 20 ml Hooghoudt Coffee & Cocoa liqueur
  • 2,5 ml Simple syrup
  • 40ml espresso
  • Ice cubes
  • cocktail Shaker
  • Measuring cup or bar measure

This is how you make this cocktail

  • Brew the espresso and let it cool down to room temperature for 15 minutes.
  • Put the espresso together with Sweet Spiced, Simple Syrup, coffee liqueur and the ice cubes in the shaker and shake!
  • Shake well a few more times until your shaker fogs up.
  • Pour your nicely foamy martini (without ice) into your glass.
  • Let three coffee beans float on your foam layer.
